Valley Forge National Historical Park is a historic park in Pennsylvania that preserves an important site from the American Revolutionary War. It is an expansive park with biking and walking paths as well as historic sites. Be sure to visit the Washington Memorial Chapel where Kevin proposed to Alex!
Flat, 18 mile trail through Chester and Montgomery counties. Great for runners, walkers, and bikers alike. Alex's family has shared many a long bike ride on the Chester Valley Trail. We recommend you park at the YSC Sports complex (224 County Line Rd, Wayne, PA 19087) and walking across the street to the trail from there!
At the Farmer's Market you can find locally grown produce, Amish-style meals and crafts, homemade soft pretzels, artisan candy, and more! The farmers market is open Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6am-4pm. Definitely check out the spicy olives from the Lebanese spot and the pigs-in-a-blanket which you can see being made right there! Beware the parking lot, it is mayhem!!!
If you have extra time to spare, consider exploring downtown Philadelphia! You can visit the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the Philadelphia Art Museum, Rocky Steps, and more and experience all the history and culture Philly has to offer!
