What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at the church 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony and reception dress code is Black-Tie Preferred. We invite guests to wear floor-length evening gowns and tuxedos with black bow ties or neckties. If needed, a black suit with a tie is also acceptable.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors. Cocktail hour and portions of the reception will be outdoors, weather permitting.

What will transportation look like on the wedding day?

Answer

Complimentary shuttles will be provided between the Desmond and Marriott hotels and Applecross, the reception venue, at the beginning and end of the evening. For the ceremony at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, we encourage guests to carpool or use rideshare services, and ample parking is available for those driving. Following the ceremony, there will be time to return to your hotel before shuttles depart for the reception.

Can I bring a plus one or my children?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, attendance is limited to the guests listed on your invitation. The only children attending will be those participating in the wedding party. Thank you for your understanding.

Will there be vegetarian or dietary accommodations?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can accommodate you.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Photos are welcome during the reception and other wedding weekend events!
