Charleston airport is the closest & most convenient airport. It is about a 30-40 minute drive from Charleston airport to Folly Beach.

Rental Car

Rent a car at Charleston International Airport. A car is highly suggested for travel around Charleston. There is public transportation but it is not reliable or timely. If you do not want to rent, Uber is very accessible in Charleston and surrounding areas.

Hotel

Tides Folly Beach Hotel

This hotel is very close to our reception- about a 5-10 minute car ride. It is on Folly Beach & connects to the Folly Pier. There are many shops, restaurants, bars in walking distance. We currently have a room block for 15 rooms. If more people would like to stay at the hotel, we can adjust for more. You can either call the reservations line directly at (888) 528-0730 to book the hotel & reference the ‘Breinich room block’ for the discount or use this link https://reservations.travelclick.com/111875?groupID=5329272 Reservations must be made by October 1st for them to honor the discount. The block has rooms reserved from Thursday, 11/12- Sunday 11/15. The only required nights to get the discount are Friday & Saturday nights.
