Question

Do I need a passport and visa?

Answer

PASSPORT: Yes! In order to enter France your passport will need to be valid at least 3 months beyond your intended date of departure- please ensure yours isn't close to expiring! We suggest 6 months to be on the safe side. VISA: No! At this moment in time you do not need a visa to travel from the U.S. to France. If you are traveling to other countries please check their requirements. We will update you if anything changes.

Question

What day should I arrive to Provence?

Answer

You are welcome to arrive as early as you would like! We will be arriving on the 23rd and majority of the guests will be arriving on the 25th. Please note that the welcome party is on the evening of the 26th and the airport is about an hour away. If you would like to experience the Saint-Rémy-de-Provence market Wednesday morning the 25th, we suggest arriving on Tuesday the 24th.

Question

Where are the bride and groom staying?

Answer

We will be staying 15 minutes away at the wedding venue, Le Mas de La Rose in Orgon, France with our immediate family members.

Question

Is there a shuttle service?

Answer

Yes! There will be a complimentary shuttle service for all three events. Details to come!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. An indoor reception will follow.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore all the little ones, this will be an adults only weekend. If you are traveling with your children, we kindly request that you make arrangements for childcare off-site or at your hotel during the events. Your hotel accommodations will be able to assist with any babysitting recommendations. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Will there be parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, while we recommend using the shuttle service on the wedding day, there is on-site parking available if you prefer to drive. For the welcome party and brunch/pool party we suggest driving in your rental car with a designated driver or scheduling a driver through your accommodations or the recommendations provided in the travel & lodging section.

Question

Should I bring Euros?

Answer

Yes! It is always a good idea to have the local currency on hand for shopping at the markets and for tipping. You can exchange US dollars for Euros at any international airport, however we suggest requesting Euros through your bank about 2 weeks before your departure for the best exchange rate. We recommend around €200 depending on your needs.

Question

How do I translate the French websites to English?

Answer

When you are looking at the search bar at the top of your screen, you will see the symbol ꙙA, click on this and then click "Translate to English".
