Question

How cold is Vail in April?

Answer

There's still snow in April, but it gets quite warm! Temperatures can reach the high 40s during the day and low 20s at night. Pack your warm jackets but remember sunglasses and sunscreen. The mountain sun strong!

Question

What is the best way to get to Vail?

Answer

We would recommend flying into Denver and taking a shuttle up to Vail, then using the free bus system to get around. Parking in Vail is expensive and can be difficult to find. If you rent a car, make sure your accommodations have parking!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Free parking will be available at the venue. You may consider taking the bus, which runs every 30 minutes during the day and once an hour after 6pm. Most hotels will also have free shuttles upon request. Don't rely on rideshares like Uber or Lyft because there are not many in Vail.

Question

Keeping the altitude in mind...

Answer

Vail is situated at 8,150 feet above sea level. To prevent altitude sickness, try to arrive early to acclimate and make sure you're staying hydrated. It's important to remember that alcohol will feel stronger here! As a general rule, one drink at sea level is equal to three at altitude.
