Things To Do (not in Waikiki!)

The Wedding Website of Jennalynn-Ann Okazaki and Aleksander Braksator
Enjoy this running list of fun things to do outside of Waikiki :) More to be added at a later date
Iolani Palace

Iolani Palace

364 South King Street, Honolulu, HI 96813

Home to our royal family. It holds incredible history and is the setting of Queen Liliʻuokalaniʻs last days and the overthrow of the Hawaiian Nation. Also in the area is the King Kamehameha statue, Aliʻiolani Hale, and Kawaiahaʻo Church.

Bishop Museum

Bishop Museum

1525 Bernice Street, Honolulu, HI 96817

Extensive museum with A TON of Hawaiian history, a dinosaur exhibit, and planetarium. We recommend spending a day here!

Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail

Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail

Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail, Waimanalo, HI 96795

Enjoy this easy 1-mile hike up to a scenic view-point during whale watching season! Bring binoculars, water and remember to stay on the paved trails :) This hike is stroller friendly for those with little ones, and is one of my personal favorites to watch the sunrise.

Ala Moana Regional Park

Ala Moana Regional Park

1201 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96814

A huge beach park with calm waters, jogging paths, volleyball, tennis courts, and a ton more! It's one of our favorite picnic and swim spots in Oahu. And the mall is just across the street!

Hawaiʻi Botanical Gardens

Hawaiʻi Botanical Gardens

HI

Admission to most parks is free with the exception of Foster Botanical Gardens where admission is $5. Hoʻomaluhia is arguably the most popular, but all of them are SO beautiful!
