Alex and Hunter both work in healthcare and strongly support CDC guidelines. We ask all guests to follow current CDC recommendations at the time of the event, and may employ added levels of protection on the big day to keep everyone safe. We will be requiring proof of immunity to COVID-19 to attend our event. We ask all attendees and staff to have a negative COVID test within 48 hours prior to entering our event. There will be ample hand sanitizer and masks available for guests that want them. The event staff will also be taking significant precautions regarding food and drink service to limit risks of infection. While we hope everyone invited will be able to attend our wedding, there is also a chance we may need to downsize to accommodate current recommendations on social distancing and gathering size.
Average June temperatures in Charleston range from mid 70s-mid 80s, but can feel quite HOT with the Lowcountry humidity. Be sure to check forecasts before you travel. June is also the start of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. For everyone's safety, we may need to postpone our wedding in the event of a major storm.
We love your kids, but thought you might like a night off. Adults only please!
There is minimal street parking available in downtown Charleston. We recommend guests park in the Charleston Visitor Center Parking Garage at 73 Mary Street which is approximately 0.2 miles from the restaurant.
We encourage guests to use a ride share service or carpool as the venue parking is offsite. For those that chose to drive, complementary attended parking will be available in an "Event Parking" lot approximately 0.25 miles from the venue. Guests may dropped off at the ceremony entry or park and walk or take the golf cart shuttle which will run continuously throughout the evening.
We are asking guests to arrive approximately 30-60 minutes prior to the start of the 5:30pm ceremony to allow for travel from the parking area, possible on site COVID testing, sign in, and seating
We are asking guests to help us maintain a "cellphone free ceremony" and have hired a great photography team to help us capture those special moments for us. Feel free to take photos during the reception and tag us in them so we can see all the fun!
Yes! We will be providing limited selections of beer, wine, and cocktails and encourage those who choose to drink to do so responsibly. Please have a designated driver or plan to use a rideshare service.
The wedding ceremony will be on a level, low cut lawn with a smooth dirt path along the side. The reception hall is ADA accessible with fully wheelchair accessible with ramps and full sized bathrooms. While we know that not all disabilities are obvious, we want to accommodate any accessibility needs that our guests may require. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, comments or concerns you may have so we can address them ahead of time.
