Since our wedding ceremony will take place during a Catholic mass, we ask that guests wear "Sunday best" or formal attire that is modest and respectful. Please choose clothing that honors the sacred setting and allows you to move comfortably as you stand, sit, and kneel throughout the service.
A Nuptial Mass is a wedding ceremony celebrated within the context of the Holy Eucharist. For us, the Mass is the highest form of prayer. We’ve chosen this because we believe that our love for each other is a reflection of God’s love for the world. Most importantly, the very first thing we will do after being pronounced husband and wife is receive the Eucharist together. It’s our way of saying that Christ is the 'daily bread' that will nourish and sustain our marriage through the years ahead.
We are so honored to have you with us! In the Catholic Church, the Eucharist is a sign of our total 'oneness' in faith, life, and worship. Because we are not yet fully united in our beliefs, we respectfully ask Catholics who are not in a state of grace as well as those not in full communion with the Catholic Church to remain in their pews or come forward with arms crossed over their chest for a blessing. We look forward to the day when all Christians may be one at the altar.
We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture the day so that you can be fully present with us. We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony—it helps keep the focus on the sacredness of the moment and ensures no one’s view is blocked by a screen!

It’s a Pittsburgh tradition to have along with cake where homemade cookies from the bride and groom’s family and friends are put together in a large display and shows the melding of the families. We would be overjoyed to have your cookies in our celebration. If you would like to contribute please contact Hailey at 610 463 6859, to coordinate what you will be making and drop offs.
