FAQs

Question

Are our kids allowed to come?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration—aside from our immediate nieces and nephews. Sit back, let your hair down, and enjoy a kid-free weekend!

Question

What's included for the weekend?

Answer

We will have exclusive access to the entire venue all weekend. Your lodging, all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day), and all drinks including alcohol are fully covered. No need to book a hotel or worry about bar tabs. Just bring yourselves and get ready for an amazing weekend!

Question

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) – Knoxville, TN Drive time: 2 hours, 5 minutes Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) – Chattanooga, TN Drive time: 2 hours Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) – Fletcher, NC Drive time: 1 hour, 51 minutes Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL) – Atlanta, GA Drive time: 2 hours, 30 minutes

Question

How do I get to Hawkesdene?

Answer

Hawkesdene is an estate in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. The venue is right near NC's borders with Georgia and Tennessee. Depending on where you come from, it may be easier to drive or fly, but know that the nearest 3 airports are each about a 2 hour drive away from the venue. For more information about travel, please see the "travel" tab above!

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held on the estate. Both will be outside, weather-permitting. North Carolina can get quite hot and humid in June, so bear that in mind when packing!

Question

What will our meals include?

Answer

Your meals will include farm-to-table breakfast, lunch, dinner and unlimited snacks and alcoholic beverages. There is also a fully functioning kitchen and fridge provided for each accommodation.
