Are our kids allowed to come?

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration—aside from our immediate nieces and nephews. Sit back, let your hair down, and enjoy a kid-free weekend!

What's included for the weekend?
Answer
We will have exclusive access to the entire venue all weekend. Accommodations have been reserved at a rate of $460 per person for the entire weekend. Included for the weekend will be all meals, alcohol, beverages, and snacks during your entire stay. We will share more details on accommodations and payment separately. No need to book a hotel or worry about bar tabs. Just bring yourselves and get ready for an amazing weekend!

How do I get to Hawkesdene?
Answer
Hawkesdene is an estate in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. The venue is right near NC's borders with Georgia and Tennessee. Depending on where you come from, it may be easier to drive or fly, but know that the nearest 3 airports are each about a 2 hour drive away from the venue. Where will the ceremony and reception be held?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be held on the estate. Both will be outside, weather-permitting. North Carolina can get quite hot and humid in June, so bear that in mind when packing!

What will our meals include?
Answer
Your meals will include farm-to-table breakfast, lunch, dinner and unlimited snacks and alcoholic beverages. There is also a fully functioning kitchen and fridge provided for each accommodation.

What Do I Wear?

We want everyone to feel casual, comfortable, and ready to enjoy the weekend. Expect beautiful days and potentially crisp nights—layers are always a good idea! Thursday Welcome Dinner: Casual Comfort Think backyard picnic vibes—easy, relaxed, and comfortable. Friday Afternoon Activities: Active/Casual Dress to move and have fun! Think fun colors and easy, comfortable style—polos or button-downs for the guys; tennis skirts, shorts, or maxi dresses for the ladies. Most importantly, wear shoes you feel great moving in. We’ll have a mix of active games (like volleyball and croquet) along with low-key options such as cornhole and Scrabble. Friday Buffet Dinner: Semi-Formal (Optional Cowboy Chic Twist!) Nice jeans or slacks, maxi dresses, jumpsuits, or button-ups are perfect. Want to lean into the theme? Add a little western flair—leather boots, cowboy hats, statement belts, fringe, or denim. A Note on Shoes While the dance floor is concrete, much of Hawkesdene’s grounds are gravel and grass. Flats, wedges, or thicker heels are your best bet!

What do the cottages come with?
Answer
Each cottage includes a washer and dryer, full kitchen, and private bathroom. You’ll also find a hairdryer, soap, and small bottles of shampoo and conditioner provided for your stay.
