Make it a vacation! Here's some of our favorite things to do in the area. A GREAT place to check out if you are looking for even more activities, lodging, restaurants, and shopping is visitlaramie.org

The historic Ivinson Mansion is a restored victorian home of a major Laramie founder. Gigi was actually a tour guide for the property as one of her first jobs in middle school! There is a small tour admission cost, but it's worth it!

Laramie Plains Museum

University of Wyoming Art Museum

This is one of Alex's favorite local sites. Dinosaur bones, regional fossils and rocks make it a fun (and quick) one for all ages! Free to the public!

University of Wyoming Geological Museum

This is a restored Old West prison and museum. An excellent tour for history nerds and those of us who believe in ghosts! Small admission fee.

Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site

Gigi loves this place. Not only because it's a charming british-style tea house, but they have Gluten Free cupcakes! Swing by if you happen to find yourself downtown.

Sugar Mouse Cupcake House

This is a great store for some old fashioned shopping. You never know what you're going to find here and its a great place to find a visitor gift or a locally made craft.
