Welcome Event - Floating Gardens of Xochimilco

Meet us at the MOTOR LOBBY in the SOFITEL HOTEL at 9:45 am to hop on a bus (transport provided) for the fun to begin. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE, the buses leave promptly at 10 am. There is no other convenient way to get to the event! We will be back at the hotel around 2pm! Guests will arrive at Xochimilco (a large canal system built by the Aztecs) around 11 am and take a boat ride through the canals to Chinampa del Sol. For anyone that gets seasick/afraid of water, these are slow-moving motor boats that are safe and hold 10-15 people. Upon arriving at Chinampa de Sol, we'll enjoy a tour of the chinampa (farm area) as well as a lunch prepared by the Arca Tierra chefs using ingredients from the farm. Beer and wine will be provided! We will then make our way back to Mexico City in the late afternoon.

Located in the trendy Roma neighborhood and about a 15 minute walk from the Sofitel, we will be holding a welcome dinner at Sobremesa! There will be tacos, sopes, wine/beer/cocktails and other delicious food to welcome you to Mexico City. We can't wait to see you there! It is easy to walk or to Uber here, there is no shuttle for this event!

Please meet at the MOTOR LOBBY in the SOFITEL HOTEL at 845am to take the shuttle to the venue. Shuttles will take guests back to the hotel after the ceremony. Celebrate with us in a unique Hindu/Jewish ceremony in a historic, renovated 19th century mansion! We will be providing a mid-morning breakfast during the ceremony. Since we'll have spent the morning together, we thought you might like to have the afternoon to yourself before the reception! Feel free to explore the Roma/Condesa neighborhoods! Please meet at the MOTOR LOBBY in the SOFITEL HOTEL at 5:00pm to join us back at Proyecto Publico Prim for a cocktail hour and a street food style experience, dancing, more eating, more dancing, more eating, until we can't anymore! We'll have a couple surprises later in the night, so make sure you're ready to party! There will be shuttles back to the SOFITEL HOTEL starting at 10:00pm and will be running continuously from General Prim to the hotel till 2:00 am.
