Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends that will be walking down the aisle with us.

Timothy (Tim) Reddy

Best Man

Tim is Alex's younger brother. Like Alex, he graduated from UW-Milwaukee. He received a business degree in supply chain and HR management, and currently lives on the East Side with Kat, Alex and Tim's sister. The two guys share many mannerisms and interests such as video games, singing, and talking. Lot's of talking.

Rachel Drozdowicz

Maid of Honor

Rachel is one of Jenelle's pseudo-sisters. Alex and Jenelle have visited Rachel and her boyfriend, Matt, in Cincinnati numerous times. Jenelle has always looked up to Rachel and copied her a lot when they were little (clothing choices, video games, playing the clarinet, etc). Coincidentally, Rachel is also a nurse.

Daniel (Dan) van den Berge

Groomsman

Dan and Alex met their sophomore year of high school. Both Dan and Alex work with computer programming (nerd stuff) so sometimes Jenelle has no idea what they’re saying. The three of them enjoy going on bike rides in the summertime and have attempted to start a band..twice. Dan’s theme song is “All the Small Things” by Blink-182.

Emma Lynch

Bridesmaid

Emma is a teacher and has taught both 1st grade and kindergarten. She is another one of Jenelle’s pseudo-sisters. Emma, Rachel, and Jenelle were all in Mrs. Jury’s preschool class (Green Room!) in 2000, and it was around this time that Emma’s knack for getting hurt in ridiculous ways began - she broke her arm when a tower of building blocks collapsed during playtime.

John LeClaire

Groomsman

John and Alex met when they were in kindergarten at Burleigh Elementary. The two have always circled back to one another, even with John’s hectic med school schedule. John became Jenelle and Alex’s roommate for one week this year when he had to quarantine, and stated, “it’s interesting to see your house...like...when you’re living in it and not just when you clean up to have people over.”

Brianna (Bree) Mathison

Bridesmaid

Bree is Jenelle’s third pseudo-sister. Bree met Rachel, Emma, and Jenelle when she arrived at Tonawanda Elementary in first grade. She is an amazing runner and will go for a run before going for a run with Jenelle. Bree will be graduating from PT School this December! Congratulations, Bree!

Kyle Wirtz

Groomsman

Kyle and Alex met their freshman year of high school. For a summer, Alex worked for the Wirtz family’s marble polishing business, and Alex may still have the iconic Marble Renaissance polo. Kyle and Alex were also roommates during their sophomore year of college and didn’t talk the following year BECAUSE OF THOSE GOSH DARN DISHES. Don’t worry, they're friends again.

Paige Steffens / Wirtz

Bridesmaid

Paige is an accountant and a bodybuilder, so she is basically always working. Paige and Kyle have been together for about as long as Alex and Jenelle, and they tie the knot August 2021. The four share a love of music festivals and traveled to New Orleans together for BUKU back in March 2019. They had planned to go again in March 2020 but COVID-19 :(

Mitchell (Mitch) McLaughlin

Groomsman

Mitch and Alex met in 2014 during a computer science discussion at UW-Milwaukee. Fast-forward a year and these two were roommates. Mitch used to bartend at RWB downtown and definitely never EVER gave Jenelle, Alex, or their friends free booze. Mitch met Zoë (now, his wife) while bartending at RWB and the two (along with one dog and three cats) moved to San Diego, CA. They are loving the consistently warm and sunny weather.

Chyaine Rosenthal-Waldoch

Bridesmaid

Jenelle and Chy met during nursing school at UW-Milwaukee. Misery truly loves company. Chyaine is an avid reader, and she gave Jenelle a specific book with a personalized message in it to ask Jenelle to be a bridesmaid. Jenelle sucks and hasn’t read more than 60 pages yet, even though Chy and Hans got married back in September 2019. After maybe a year of working as a nurse, Chy realized it wasn’t for her and went back to school at UW-Stevens Point to become a high school English teacher. She graduates in December. Congratulations, Chy!
