This old water pumping station has been converted into one of the city's most popular coffee shops. Alex drinks his coffee black and Jenelle loves her lattes.

This is one of our favorite lakefront parks in the Milwaukee area. If you head down to the lake, beware - the walk back up is quite the workout.
From here, Jenelle and Alex take Leela for walks on the dirt trails next to the Milwaukee River. This is truly a hidden gem for any nature lover.
Meander through this alley for views of incredible street art. Afterwards, walk over to any of the nearby restaurants/bars/shops - Crossroad Collective, Hacienda Beer Co., Beans & Barley, Sip & Purr Cat Cafe, Ma Fischer's, Mad Chicken, and Landmark Lanes (to name a few). Can you tell we lived over here for quite some time?
Thanks to COVID-19, Summerfest was postponed to a few weekends in September of 2021. Music-lovers, check this out. Jenelle and Alex have gone annually since they started dating.
This is for any plant lover - just browsing and immersing yourself is a blast. A couple plants from here have survived under Jenelle's care for over two years!
Alex and Jenelle love going for bike and car rides along scenic Lake Drive, and on one of their adventures they discovered the Mary Nohl house (aka the Witch's House). Alex and Jenelle think this is one of the most unique and breathtaking subdivisions in Milwaukee county, as it is right on the Lake's level.
During high school, Alex and Jenelle had cross country meets at Grant Park. This is another one of Milwaukee County's gorgeous lakeside parks with multiple hiking trails that take you through the woods and down to the lakefront. Oh, also, apparently it's haunted.
