Alex & Deborah

Deborah and Alex first met while Alex was a summer associate and Deborah was a junior associate at the corporate law firm where they both still work today (did someone say Barack and Michelle...?).

While things were purely professional throughout that summer, their paths crossed again around 1 year later when, by some sort of star-aligning, God-orchestrated coincidence, Alex met a lady who turned out to be one of Deborah’s sister's friends while in Greece. Serendipity at its absolute finest!

The two then commenced long-distance Cali-to-London correspondence for months until finally seeing each other again in Peru. Alex was living in Lima at the time for work, and Deborah solo travelled over there during her move from London to Houston, Texas. They then shared a happy and travel-filled semi-long-distance relationship together between Houston (where Deborah lived) and NYC (where Alex lived). 

Multiple geographies, two children, one pandemic & much more later, the rest is now history.
