We're Getting Married

Our first date, was our first meet. We went ice skating, in Duluth. I walk up to the rink, and there standing a man with red roses waiting for me. That there told me, he could possibly someone I want to keep around. We skated for a little while. Our date ended with Alex asking to go on another date in the near future. From that day, Alex and I have been inseparable.

It was very unexpected. It was Alex's birthday weekend, he wanted to go to Piedmont Park to walk with our puppy, Jesseca. How could I say no to the birthday boy? We finally get there, we're walking around and, near the lake, there is a white and black lens peaking from the corner of the tree. My first thought, why are they watching us but than I realized we are not the only ones at the park. As we walk closer to the lake, there are rose peddles everywhere, behind the mysteries lens was my best friend, Kandyce recording and taking pictures as Alex gets on one knee and asks the question that I've been waiting to say yes to for the longest time!
