Only 30 minutes away from Burlington Saxapahaw is the perfect place if you like the outdoors. The Haw River Trail is a 70-mile long multi-use trail following the path of the Haw River from Haw River State Park to Jordan Lake State Recreation Area. The Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co. offers far more than boats, courses and trips, because its guides understand the river and its natural significance. You can also enjoy lunch at The Eddy where the food it source from local farmers.
