What airport should we travel to?

Answer

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is about a 45-minute drive to Elon and approximately 30 minutes to the wedding venue. Alternatively, you can fly into Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO). While it's a bit smaller, it’s roughly a 30-minute drive to Elon and about an hour to the wedding venue. We recommend RDU for more flight options, but either airport will work for your travel needs! Both airports provide convenient access to the wedding events, so you can choose the one that best fits your travel plans!

Where should I stay?

Answer

For your convenience, the welcome cocktail and day-after get-together will take place near Elon University and Burlington. While we’ve listed several hotels in the area, there are also plenty of great Airbnb options in Elon, Whitsett, Graham, and Mebane (Alamance County). If you have a specific Airbnb in mind, feel free to reach out—we’d be happy to offer advice or check it out for you! Additionally, you might consider accommodations in the Raleigh/Durham area, which is about a 30-minute drive from the wedding venue in Hillsborough. No matter where you choose to stay, we hope you have a wonderful time!

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Carolina Grove. For your convenience, we recommend staying overnight at the Inn at Elon, where you can leave your car. We’ll provide shuttles to and from the Inn, as well as nearby hotels, for easy transportation to the venue. As the date approaches, we’ll share more information based on where the majority of our guests choose to stay. If you’re staying at another hotel, please plan for a designated driver or a taxi service, as Uber availability may be limited in the area. We want to ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable experience on our special day!

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire for our wedding. Men: Please wear a suit and tie. Women: A long dress is preferred. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you!

If your RSVP (via Zola) or invitation doesn't specify a guest, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly! We’re happy to clarify and ensure that everyone can enjoy celebrating with us.
