Cartagena's airport is Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG) There are direct flights into Cartagena from NYC, Fort Lauderdale and Miami. If anyone needs helping booking their flights, please contact Emily, she is a flight guru.

Travel Note

Taxis

The airport is a short 10-minute taxi journey to the old town. It should be less than $10 USD. Please use the fare estimate machine outside the airport, next to the money exchange, to find out the correct price of your ride, and confirm the price with the driver before getting into the taxi. To get around the city, we suggest walking. The old city is so small, you can walk from one end to the other in about 15 minutes! If you’d like to explore the newer part of Cartagena or go outside of the walled city, we suggest taking a taxi. They are cheap and safe, so no need for rentals!

WHERE SHOULD I STAY IN CARTAGENA?

You can best experience the beauty, history, and culture of Cartagena staying in the Old City and conveniently you can explore all of it by foot! This is why we chose to hold our wedding in this part of the city and therefore we recommend staying within its walls. There are numerous hotels and Airbnb options at every price point.
