The first photo of all three of us together

Finally everyone living together in August of 2021! Two adults, one kid, two dogs, and two cats

Elissa and Alex have a shared love of food, especially food from other cultures and countries. This was when Elissa introduced Alex to Ethiopian food at a great little place in Grand Rapids, MI

Our trips always involve yummy stops

Our food adventures include cooking new things together. First time for homemade sushi!

Eli is an especially good helper in the kitchen

And sometimes we’ll even go a little out of our way to satisfy a craving

Shabbat dinner at the Lewin house

We’re an adventurous bunch and love to try new things together

From kayaking in Ohio

To sightseeing in Chicago

Alex has teamed up with Eli to help Elissa let her goofy side out a little more

You can catch us thrill seeking at theme parks

And commingling with bear cubs

Alex has introduced Elissa to the hammock life

And Elissa has helped Alex learn to enjoy the cold

We’re always down for a good celebration

Like Fourth of July at Niagara Falls

Watching the Toledo Rockets win the MAC championship with Alex’s colleagues

And the marriage of loved ones

And we’re full of Pride 🏳️‍🌈 because as Elissa always says, love makes a family!

Elissa and Eli popped the question in front of our parents at Dollywood in March 2023

And Alex asked Elissa back at a bowling event with some of Alex’s coworkers

Teddy and Potato have settled in to the new house, even if they’re not big fans of their canine siblings

Potato is still a curious guy

And Teddy has endless patience for his brother Eli

Jackson and Madison are up to their same old antics

And Alex has even let them start cuddling her on the couch

We’ve made one big purchase together; welcome to the family Betsy (named by Eli)

We’ve started collecting official family photos

Including with the whole Schwartz/Klein gang
