Answer

Please check the Travel section of this website. If you booked through Destination Weddings, shuttles are included in your reservation and details will be provided from Sharon Fein, our travel agent, closer to your travel date. She will need to gather your flight information, to help coordinate shuttle trips with groups traveling together. If you booked directly with the Akumal website, please work with their concierge to coordinate shuttle service. Any additional questions, you can contact Sharon Fein at sfein@destinationweddings.com.

Question

What is the weather in Riviera Maya in October?

Answer

Hot, hot, hot! Although October is considered rainy season in the Yucatan jungle, there is plenty of sunshine and humidity with a slight breeze in the evening.

Question

Do I go through customs at Cancun airport?

Answer

Yes! During your inbound flight, you will need to fill out a customs form. You will pass through immigration, meet with an agent at the desk and get a green light or red light to proceed. A green light means "go" and red means "inspection" in which case, officials perform a quick inspection. When flying from Mexico to the United States, you will go through Customs at the airport in the United States where you land
