Maid of Honor
Olivia and I played junior golf against each other in high school but we didn't truly meet until the first day of college freshman year. We were both on the golf team and were living together in the dorms. Our friendship grew off the golf course and we have had our fair share of memories. Football games cheering on our Bearcats, nights on the town, or simply staying in for a good movie and a wine and cheese board! She is like a sister I never had and even though we don't live in the same city anymore every time we are together it is like no time has passed at all. We are always able to pick up right where we left off! Now we are used to FaceTime dates and look forward to Skyline dates when she is in town!
Best Man
Ryan is my little brother with the big heart, both literally and figuratively. He is a passionate fan of Bearcat Football and Basketball, but I think we probably bond the most over a sport we could have never predicted we’d love this much, soccer! Ryan is my FC Cincinnati wingman. He has been by my side for every match and every crazy SG event (that’s soccer lingo for Supporters Group). We have had our ups and downs as brothers tend to do, but I wouldn’t trade him for any other. He is generous and kind and cares deeply about God, his family and the wellbeing of others. He helped me come to my faith and for that I am eternally grateful. He always has been and always will be my Best Man.
Matron of Honor
Where to begin...Lindsey and I met in college one night when the golf and tennis teams got together for a party. We probably bonded over what was in our Gatorade bottles but those details aren't what is important. Lindsey was on the tennis team, I on the golf team, and we became fast friends. Our love of sports, friends, and family have kept us close. I was the ultimate wingwoman for a few years where we would bounce around town for good times. Thankfully she found the one, Chase, who was able to always give us a ride home. I will forever be known as Carl or if you ask her dad as "Golfer Girl". She is always down for a good time and always has my back!
Groomsman
Remember “Peaked In High School Rob Lowe” from the DirecTV commercials? I’m just kidding! Max is my closest friend from childhood, and I joke about his athletic prowess in high school and college (probably because I was never that great at sports!). No doubt about it, Max was (is?) a stud. We have had many adventures over the years and gotten into our fair share of trouble, but Max has always had my back and I certainly always had his. Max is the rambunctious fun-loving guy that you’ll always want in your corner.
Bridesmaid
We are both from Cincinnati but didn't meet until grad school in Hattiesburg, MS. I had been there for a year when I went to my first class of the semester and had to form a group with classmates. I picked the two guys who were also graduate assistants in the athletic department. They invited me to go have pizza with them and a few other friends after class and thankfully I said yes! That is where I would meet Cara (and Jill) and we became friends! Even though we were new friends we all became like a family. Road trips to away football games (Tuscaloosa was a great time...Roll Tide!!), Sam Hunt concerts (yes we have been to multiple!), and lots and lots of laughs and memories along the way!
Groomsman
Jay gets the award for oldest friend, we've been close since third grade. We played football together from pewee under the great Coach Tom Schroeder (Jay’s father) all the way through High School. We’ve traveled to exotic beaches (Spring Break Siesta Key!) and learned the Snowboarding ropes at Perfect North Slopes. We lived together in college and are fraternity brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha. Jay and I were always the two to rally the troops and do something fun, usually planning a party for all our friends. You could always find us at the end of the night as the last two awake. We’d sit on the front porch solving the world’s problems at three in the morning. We’ve traded the porch for a table at Frisch’s and grab lunch as often as we can to keep those great conversations going!
Bridesmaid
As you may have read above I met both Jill and Cara at the Mellow Mushroom in Hattiesburg, MS. We were both graduate assistants at Southern Miss working in athletics, she was the dietitian and I was the golf coach. We packed more in one year of grad school than most people can in a lifetime and it was a great year! From trips to New Orleans (some ended better than others), lunch and dinner dates at Glory Bound, or going to watch the basketball games with Swell bottles full of our favorite drinks we always were having a good time! I am so thankful for this Wisconsin girl who has lived just about everywhere and the time that we get to spend together. Even though we have lived in different time zones most of our friendship we find the time to create more memories!
Groomsman
Trevis is my newest friend, but he has certainly made up for lost time. We met while working together at Cintas and made a point to get together outside of work. That has grown into a great friendship that his wife, Shelby, and Alex have also joined. We do a lot together as couples. Trevis and Shelby are always up for a night on the town; seeing a show, trying a new restaurant, or just hanging out and watching a game. We have been able to share our church study groups with them as well. We feel truly blessed to have a couple that shares our faith. Trevis is definitely the “Good Old Boy” of this group; guns, camping and boxing/MMA are a few of his passions. If you catch Trevis at the wedding, be sure to ask him about hypnosis, he.. uh.. had a bad experience!
Bridesmaid
I first met Chelsea when we went to visit her in Florida! She was picking us up from the train station on her lunch break. I don't think we were quite prepared to pack into her Audi TT! I had to sit on Colin's lap as we zipped back to the convention center. I am so thankful we were able to visit her and I could finally meet the person Colin had shared so many stories about! We had so much fun that week going to restaurants, Sunday brunch, and watching the fireworks on the Fourth of July. She has now moved to New York which we got to visit her and Olivia last summer. Once again it was filled with lots of laughs, full bellies, and memories to last a lifetime. She is like the sister Colin never had which means I will get to add another "sister from another mister" to my family!
Groomsman
Last but certainly not least, the Greek God that we only put at the end of the line so he wouldn’t upstage the groom! Frank is also a fraternity brother and to say he and I have had adventures would be an understatement. We love road trips and flying by the seat of our pants. Sometimes that ends well, others… well, you can imagine. By far the greatest trip was New Years in New York City. It will be tough to top, but we are certainly going to try. No need to spoil the story, ask him about it at the wedding! Frank is one of the most creative guys I know. He loves to cook, plays the guitar, and does a few great impersonations. He’s got lots of energy and is eager to learn, try and experience the world. I''m sure we have many more adventures ahead.
