Travel and Lodging

We recognize that Houlton is a bit of a hike for a lot of folks, so we want to work with you on travel and lodging to make it as low stress as possible! There are lots of options for housing that weekend, and we will be reaching out to each of you with more information. Click on "view" to see the route from your house to the "venue" (aka Aunt Sue and Uncle Dick's beautiful farm). The farm is only about a 20 minute drive from downtown Houlton where there are lots of dining and lodging options, grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, etc. It is also only about a 40 minute drive from Orient, where there are additional lodging options. First Settlers Lodge offers a variety of overnight accommodations with views of the surrounding Grand Lake area- where the family camp is located. This is about a 40 minute drive to the wedding venue.
