Our story, through photos.
We're so excited to host our friends and families at our wedding in Dallas.
We first knew each other in high school as rivals for the title of biggest nerd in Bartlesville. Here we are in a newspaper photo naming us National Merit Semifinalists.
We were also both named Academic All-Staters for the state of Oklahoma in 2011. Clearly neither of us wanted to take this photo.
After college, we both ended up in Dallas and eventually became friends as adults. We took this photo at the Nasher Sculpture Garden on a trip to the Dallas Symphony.
After we started dating, we tried to soak up the local sights every time Alex visited Carl in California! In this photo, we caught the sunset from Alcatraz.
While dating long distance, we tried to meet in the middle as often as we could. We took this photo at a café near Jackson Square in New Orleans.
Carl proposed on May 30, 2020 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
(Don't worry, we rushed to get masks back on after the proposal!)
