The vast majority of our guests will be fully vaccinated by the wedding date, and as of May 13, the CDC has issued guidance that fully vaccinated people can resume normal, indoor activities without wearing a mask or social distancing. Even so, we will continue to assess the health situation and will implement an appropriate level of precaution. Please plan to bring a mask for each member of your party, and we ask that you follow all COVID safety instructions given to you at our events. We also ask that you monitor yourself and other members of your party for COVID-like symptoms, and that you stay home if feeling ill. In addition, please know that we completely understand if any invited guests choose not to attend due to COVID concerns. Your health and safety are the most important things to us!
If the envelope that your invitation came in says "And Guest" or lists another name with yours, then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Formal invitations have been sent out as of April 20th, and they ask for an RSVP on this site by May 19th. If you received a save-the-date but did not receive a formal invitation, please reach out to Alex or Carl.
Yes! We want to make sure our vegetarian and vegan guests, as well as those with other dietary restrictions, are taken care of. Please reach out to Alex or Carl and let us know what accommodations you need!
Yes! We want to make sure that we and our vendors can take photos and get the reception venue ready with no rush. We also want to give guests plenty of time to make the trip from the church to the reception venue. We encourage you to take the extra time to relax at your hotel, catch up with out-of-town friends, or grab a snack or drink at one of the many great options around Dallas!
For the ceremony, we recommend being seated in the church by 1:45. Please keep in mind that it is disruptive to the Mass when guests arrive late, but we understand that things happen! For the reception, we will begin the evening promptly at 6:00 with a 30-minute cocktail "hour" that will feature an open bar and light hors d'oeuvres before dinner. By 6:30, the bride and groom will have arrived and we will begin dinner. Please be sure to arrive no later than 6:30 at the absolute latest.
There will be free ceremony parking on the University of Dallas campus, where the church is located. You can park anywhere on UD's small campus. There is also reception parking available in the Old Red Museum garage, which sits underneath the building, for a $4 fee. However, if you are planning to drink alcohol, we recommend that you carpool with a designated driver or take advantage of a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft.
Our ceremony will take place in a church, so please keep that in mind when considering wardrobe options. For our evening reception, tuxedos and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail attire.

We will not be reserving hotel blocks, but we have provided some suggested options on the “Travel" tab of this website.
