Wedding Party

LoriAnn Azzari

Maid of Honor, Planner, Motivator, Everything

LoriAnn and I met while working at a residential treatment facility in Langhorne, PA. At first, LoriAnn thought I was kind of um, well, not the nicest person. After seeing her upset over the atmosphere at our shared employer, I stopped to encourage her, somehow spilling half of my life story in trade. LoriAnn quickly became my best friend, and we've been inseparable ever since! An adept and empathetic nurse, LoriAnn takes that zeal for caretaking into all aspects of her life. She is always there for me, offering comfort, honesty, enthusiasm, and, inevitably, a nursing grammar lesson. She has stood up for me against misrepresentation and bullying at work as well. Her impeccable taste is evident all around you, and this wedding would not have happened without her superb taste, planning, and ingenious ideas. I certainly would not have managed all this without her on my side.

Blair Levin

Best Person

Blair and I met in high school. Senior year, we became especially close as my main friend group had graduated the year before. After several years, our relationship upgraded from "just friends" to in-laws, when Blair married my sister. Blair is the funniest, most charming and forthright person you'll ever meet. Blair has a way of sophisticating even the most childish of jokes, seen best when their commentary during comedies is even better than show! Blair has all of the best "Andy" stories, from me learning to talk to girls, to my introducing Blair and Julia. They also give the best advice, both insightful, and also extremely practical and down to earth. At home in the chicest of Brooklyn joints or the divey-est of bars, Blair has a way of making everyone feel like a friend. They are fiercely loyal and protective of the people they love, and I couldn't get married without them by our side. Blair truly is the Best Person!!!

Angel Sosnowski

Bridesmaid

Angel and I are the bookends of our family, ironic given our shared love of reading. When I was almost 15 years old, Angel was born, and I had a huge part in her early years. Through our adult lives, she has been there me whenever the I've called, as a shoulder to lean on, cry on, or laugh with. Aaaand sometimes to interpret the people around me. Angel has always shown a wisdom beyond her years, and is frequently found grounding her family, and bringing them together. She facilitates communication, and is easily able to explain each of us to the rest. She is strongly empathetic, incredibly sweet, and endlessly loyal. She got married to an incredible man, and they welcomed their firstborn baby girl this year. We are incredibly proud of the amazing woman, wife, and mother Angel has become, and feel beyond lucky to count her among friends and family.

Julia Coppock

Groomswoman

Julia is Andy's sister. A better sister could not be had. While most siblings tell stories of fights and disagreements, jokes and pranks, there is only kindness and camaraderie in the stories of her and Andy. From being his champion when kids to his rock as adults, she has always been there for him whenever he needed someone. She is kind to everyone. She is absolutely hilarious, but in a suspiciously Coppock way that is delightfully unexpected. She is stunning, classy, and elegant, even when casual. She is an amazing role model, not just to our kids, but to us as well! Julia is everything we want to be when we grow up. Effortlessly cool, too (Andy says "so much cooler than me", with a chuckle). She is amazingly successful, but also humble about it. She is one of the two people we had a serious discussion about when adding to the wedding party, because we both wanted you on our side.

Kimberly Johnston

Bridesmaid

Kim is another of my sisters. Of the six of us, she is perhaps the strongest of us, and has served to be a shelter to the rest of us. Forthright and honest, you can trust what she says to be true. She is quick to fight for any of our siblings, but quicker still to be supportive in any way she can. From annual holiday dinners, to hosting family events, opening her home to us, and showing up every time it matters, she is a consistency we have all grown to rely on. No matter how busy she is, she always takes time to take a call. She lends excellent support that is both empathetic and incredibly authentic. Andy says she is one of the best hostesses he has ever seen, and I agree. A party at her house is The Place to be, and an event not to be missed! Her creativity and talent for a homey space is only surpassed by the fact that it is an extension of who she is as a person. She accommodates, supports, and accepts those around her. What she expects from others, she offers more than twice over in her own actions. Which is good, because few of us could hope to be as funny, creative, or caring as she is.

River Robbins

Grooms' Person

River is Andy's cousin, and one of our dearest friends. Their wife is our officiant, and together or separate, they are some of our favorite people. Being around River is as easy as breathing, and their support and love is warm and enthusiastic. We were overjoyed to be able to include River in our wedding party as their role in our lives has been a blessing. River has been a support to Andy with no judgment, and with complete and total love and acceptance. They have truly shown themselves to be his Person.

Chris Robbins

Officiant

Chris is married to River, Andy's cousin. Like the rest of Andy's family, they have been incredibly welcoming and wonderful. Whether it be Andy's quirks, or my eccentricities, Chris rolls with our chaos unflustered. Even more, they make River happy, and that means more to us than we could ever say. The pair of them are a source of joy and comfort in our lives, and we are grateful for their presence. Having a place for them in our wedding has been a plan since we first started planning, and our day wouldn't be complete without them.

Philip Johnston

Groomsman

I met Philip a few months before his 5th birthday. From the very beginning, and despite differing views on the bribability of ice cream, we hit it off. Two peas in a pod, we could talk for hours about Marvel, Doctor Who, Spiderman, Legos, and space. As he grew, his interests matured, and our conversations became more reciprocal. These days, we can be found discussing economics, political strategy, legal reform, and history. On other occasions, we discuss and debate concepts of physics, mathematics, and science. It's never a dull moment and we have truly forged a great bond. Philip is the most caring of young teens. He eternally shows his astonishing empathy, love, and caring nature. Despite being a teenager, a time rife with conflict against parental rules and restrictions, Philip demonstrates maturity and understanding on a daily basis. We are both exceedingly proud of who he has become, and can't wait to see where it may bring him.

Jeff Sanders

Best Man

Jeff and I have been friends ever since I walked into Gamer's Realm in East Windsor to play Magic: The Gathering. Over the years, he has been there for me through ups and downs, and has demonstrated that rare type of loyalty that is memorialized in epic fiction, for truly it must be too great for real life. One year, when he was off for the summer, he drove to my house every day and made me JOG. To this day, it's the only period in my whole life of sustained exercise. Jeff's passion for strategy is rivaled in his political acumen and teaching skills, but is surpassed by his demonstrated success as a father and husband. I'm truly blessed to have such a steadfast best friend! Unfortunately, Jeff will be on a long planned vacation, so we will remember him while we party.
