Emma is our amazing officiant! We met Emma and her husband, Brad, while attending Colorado Mammoth lacrosse games. Throughout the season, Emma and Brad had sat behind us and became our close friends. We are looking forward to having Emma officiate our wedding!
Calie
Maid of Honor
How does one sum up 25 years of sisterhood/friendship?! Calie is the original ride or die. She has been through it all with me (Amber). Calie, alongside Krystin, encouraged me to date Alex and has provided her seal of approval.
Krystin
Matron of Honor
As both the best friend to Amber and the cousin to Alex, Krystin is the reason for the start of our relationship. We're the reason she no longer likes going to the zoo (especially with us). She's been alongside of us through both of our lives and has been one of the biggest cheerleaders of our relationship. Here's to more years of Johnny Depp, Mammoth games, Call of Duty, and friendship.
Kyle
Best Man
Kyle and Alex met through Krystin. They share so many (nerdy) hobbies that Krystin and Amber joke that Kyle and Alex are boyfriends. Kyle is always there with a laugh or smile for not only Alex but for Amber as well. Kyle is Amber's food and wine person and he is always willing to crack open a bottle of wine with Amber.
Kelly
Bridesmaid
Kelly and Amber met through work. While the first meeting was virtual, as Kelly lived in Georgia, once Kelly moved back to Colorado, the friendship flourished through bonding over their love of Chick-Fil-A to their love of crafting.
Felipe
Groomsman
Felipe is the brother Amber wished she had and is grateful that she gets now. Felipe is actually Alex's younger brother that now Amber claims as one of her own siblings. Over the summer Felipe came to stay with Amber and Alex and it was amazing! We always ask when he can come stay with us again after giving Felipe back to Alex's mom. Felipe is such a big part of our lives so we are so excited to have him be apart of our wedding.
Jesse
Groomsman
Jesse and Alex met through working where they realized that they both enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons. When Alex decided to become Dungeon Master and run his own campaign, Jesse was quick to sign on. They succeeded in their investigation check in friendship.
Shelby
Bridesmaid
Shelby is Amber's cousin. Amber remembers when she first got to hold Shelby the day after she was born and knew they'd be friends for life. Shelby lives in Virginia and has been a tremendous help with the wedding, albeit virtual.
Jason
Groomsman
Jason and Alex also met through work and bonded over video games. Amber, new to video games, was texting Alex that she was going to "lick" Jason's butt. Really she meant kick! Thankfully there was no butt licking. There was however many more laughs to come.
