Travel Note
We do not have a group hotel block reservation, so please feel free to stay wherever is best for you. You can use this booking page to access special discounted rates at local hotels. You can choose any hotel you like, just be sure to keep in mind your distance from the Meridian International Center. Please note, you *are not* required to use this page to book your hotel if you prefer to book on your own.
Rental Car
We recommend using Uber or Lyft as a convenient way to get around town and to the ceremony the day of our wedding. Going to and from the airport, Uber usually has the best rates. However, around the city, Lyft usually has better prices and faster pickups.
Flight
DCA is the closest airport to downtown Washington, D.C. and has convenient Metro access to the city. We highly recommend flying into DCA if you're joining us from out out of town!
Flight
BWI is the second-closest airport and often has cheap flight options. If you land at BWI, we recommend taking the Amtrak or Maryland commuter rail system from the airport to Union Station to avoid a hefty Uber charge.
Flight
IAD is the furthest airport from downtown, but also has cheap flight options and a convenient Metro link for transportation. Plan for at least an hour of travel from the airport to your hotel.
Travel Note
We do not recommend getting a rental car. There is limited parking at the wedding venue, and parking in the city is generally limited. We recommend using the Metro to get around town!
Train
We recommend using the Metro to get around town! Apple Maps tends to be better for navigating the system. You can buy a Metro card at any station or add the SmarTrip card to your phone wallet to reload on the go and use tap to pay at the stations. The metro runs directly to DCA and IAD.
