Our Story
Ali vividly remembers the first time she met Alex. The first day of high school speech class, Alex made Ali memorize a novel of a fun fact that she still knows to this day. From that day on, they clicked and quickly became the best of friends. After a year of school lunches and group projects, Alex asked Ali to the spring dance and the rest is history.
Both went on to Rice University, where they created some of their fondest memories over Alex’s Coffeehouse lattes and late night drives to Buc-ee’s. Soon after, their paths took them coast to coast, with Ali heading to New York for law school and Alex moving to Washington D.C. and then Las Vegas for work. A few years of red eye flights and whirlwind adventures later, they both came to call D.C. home.
To celebrate Ali’s graduation, Alex planned a trip abroad and proposed in the city Ali had always dreamed of visiting. Alex and Ali will be married the month of their 10 year anniversary and are excited to have you there to celebrate.
