East Las Olas Boulevard
This is a notable street with plenty of shops, bars/restaurants and is along the water! A good place to start if you want to explore the area. It's about a 15 min drive from Oakland Park.
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Beach
Nearby beach offering parking and restaurants if you're looking to soak up some of that Florida sun! There is a highly rated snorkeling spot right off the beach too. Only 15 mins from Oakland Park.
The Shorely At Marina Village
An adorable boat bar with great cocktails. (I did a beach bar crawl for a friend's birthday starting here and making our way up to Blondie's and other nearby bars!) This is about a 20-25 minute drive from Oakland Park.
Fort Lauderdale Beaches
Less populated than Lauderdale-by-the-Sea but still a beach. If you're visiting Florida from a colder weather state, why wouldn't you want to go to the beach in the winter?! Only a 15 minute drive from Oakland Park.
Jacaranda Golf Club
If you're into golf- this course is about a 20 minute drive from Oakland Park and has excellent reviews.
