We're getting married!

Alex and I first met thanks to his cousin, Luis (aka Gabby) Perez. I’d met Luis a few months earlier, and he was kind enough to include me in his happy hour crew—he knew I was still finding my footing in Florida. One night, Luis invited me out for drinks, and Alex tagged along. It was just the three of us, but we had such a blast that we ended up closing down the bar at 3 a.m. (Yes, we’re those people.) Fast forward a couple of weeks, and the gang was out again for a night on the town. Somewhere between the laughs and the cocktails, Alex and I exchanged numbers—and before long, date night was officially on the calendar. The rest? Well, let’s just say sparks flew, and we’ve been happily together ever since! You know how the saying goes: first comes love, then comes marriage… and in our case, the baby carriage is already on its way too.
