Wedding Party

Meet Our Wedding Party 💍 We are incredibly lucky to be surrounded by some of the most amazing people in our lives. These are the friends and family who have laughed with us, supported us, and stood by our side through it all. We couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without them by our side.

Alicia Mena

Bride

Alex Rosario

Groom

Rosilea Tackett

Maid of Honor

Daughter of the Bride and Groom

Matt Limbert

Best Man

Matt has been my right-hand man since the 5th grade—minus a brief hiatus when his family decided to take a detour to Colorado. What can I say about Matt? He’s the most loyal, smartest, cheapest, and most pompous man I know, but there’s never been a question that he’s there through thick and thin. And trust me, I’ve had my fair share of both. He’s seen me at my worst, my best, and everything in between. He’s always been there, no matter what. There was even a time he lived with me and my family, navigating life as an 18-year-old about to be a dad. During that time, my mom was convinced he tried to poison her—but that’s a story for another day. He’s been calling my mom “Mom” since high school, and if there was ever something I was too scared to ask for, Matt was the one who made it happen. There’s no other way to put it—Matt is family. Through every phase of life, no matter what happens, I’ll always be there for him, and I know he’ll always be there for me.

Bridesmaid

Sister to Groom

Nick Stafford

Groomsman

There’s only one way to describe him—Horny Nick. Our bromance began back at Northern Illinois when I was roommates with his brother. I talked his ear off about fantasy football, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. For over 14 years, Nick has been my therapist, friend, stylist, lover (don’t ask), and confidant. He’s the keeper of all the stories that will one day fill my memoirs—just ask him. No tale is too personal, no moment too sacred; if there’s a pot to stir, you can bet he’s already got the spoon in hand. But beneath the chaos and relentless roasts, Nick has one of the biggest hearts I know. He would do anything for me and constantly pushes me to be better. He doesn’t just want me to succeed—he demands it. More than a best friend, he’s my brother in every way that matters.

Cindy Cortez-Roldán

Bridesmaid

Best friend to Bride

Juan Pickett

Groomsman

Juan and I have always understood each other on a different level—he’s my soul brother. My DEI pick!! He moved into my neighborhood in 5th grade and quickly became one of my first real school friends. We bonded over music, TV, and, of course, movies we were way too young to be watching during sleepovers. He’d raid my parents’ fridge like it was his own, always flashing that signature charm and calling my mom “Miss Lisa.” In middle school, we even started our first business together—A&J’s Snow Shoveling. It lasted about two weeks during one winter, and while we weren’t exactly the most reliable workers, we had a blast. After we shoveled my driveway, we’d go to his house to do his—usually after microwaving our socks to warm up. I conveniently “had to run home” during one of those days, leaving Juan to shovel solo. And somehow, this man still wanted to be my friend. Later, I convinced him to live with me at Northern Illinois—another questionable decision that led to even more questionable choices. But no matter what, Juan was always there. I’ve always known I could count on him to understand my perspective, but also to be real with me when I needed it most. He’s one of the few people who’s truly seen it all, and I couldn’t imagine this day without him right there by my side.

Leyla Borrelli

Bridesmaid

Best friend of Bride

Dan Limbert

Groomsman

Dan wasn’t always my guy. Back in the early high school days, when Matt and I were hanging out, Dan was the older brother who barely gave us the time of day. He was too cool—posted up in his basement bedroom, probably texting girls and vibing as the self-proclaimed outcast of the family. We were just the annoying younger kids in his orbit. But fast forward to college, and everything changed. I started a fantasy football league, and Dan joined. What started as trash talk and roster moves quickly turned into hours-long conversations—not just about fantasy, but life. He became more than just Matt’s brother. He became a real friend. Over the last 10+ years, Dan has been a consistent and important part of my life. He’s not just a mainstay in the league anymore—he’s the commissioner now. He took the torch and ran with it, turning into an absolute fantasy football addict in the best way possible. Our bond is built on laughs, trash talk, and unfiltered honesty. We roast each other constantly, especially over shared truths like Matt being cheap or Dan still claiming the outcast title in his family. But underneath it all, there’s real friendship, real loyalty. Nothing’s off limits, and that’s what makes our connection so solid. I couldn’t imagine this wedding—or life, really—without Dan being a part of it.

Allie Twatz

Bridesmaid

Best Friend of Bride

Diego Casillas

Groomsman

Diego isn’t just a friend—he’s family. He’s the wise old man of the crew (his words, not mine), and from the time I was young, annoying, immature, and a full-blown nuisance, he somehow decided to take me under his wing. We really bonded over golf. That turned into something we did together all the time—sometimes multiple times a week. From regular rounds to full-blown golf trips with him, my dad, and Bob (his father-in-law), some of the best memories from my childhood have Diego at the center of them. But beyond golf and jokes, one of the most important parts of our relationship was when I was going through personal stuff at home. Diego stepped up. He took on a fatherly role when I truly needed it—something I’ll never be able to repay. He’s always been a steady presence, someone I go to for advice and guidance whether he wants it or not (usually not). He’s full of wisdom, but don’t forget—he insists on being called Doctor because he thinks it adds a certain level of prestige (and, let’s be honest, it kind of does). He’s also very proud of his Mexican heritage—don’t bring it up unless you’re ready for a full TED Talk and to be called racist just for asking. All jokes aside, Diego is one of the greatest men I know. There was never any doubt he’d be standing beside me on this day—though if he weren’t, he’d get super salty and throw a fit, and nobody wants that kind of drama. He’s my brother, my mentor, and a permanent part of my life.

Melanie Rosario

Bridesmaid

Sister of the Groom

Josh Rivera

Groomsman

Josh and I go way back—our dads were best friends since high school. Two drunk Bulldogs who never grew out of the chaos and carried their friendship into adulthood. Naturally, when they had kids, our lives became intertwined. Josh is about eight years older than me, so growing up, I was the annoying little tagalong. Every holiday—Thanksgiving, Christmas, you name it—was spent at his house or a relative’s. I didn’t have many kids my age around, so I followed Josh everywhere. He was the coolest guy in the world to me. I idolized everything about him. He had a Beretta, which I thought was the sickest car ever. I wanted one because he had one. That didn’t stop him and his friends from roasting me—especially for my leather pants phase and calling me Robbie… Robbie Williams, I think? Still, I wanted to be like him. Eventually, that annoying kid earned a spot as his friend. When Josh moved to the city, we started going to Cubs games all the time. Those trips turned into some of the best memories of my life. I’d drive down, he'd hook it up with tickets, and we’d roam Wrigleyville, probably too drunk, laughing the whole way. From Wayne’s house to his—Josh was always there. We had a bit of a hiatus no falling out, just two stubborn men doing what stubborn men do. But now he’s back in my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Josh isn’t just someone who’s been around—he’s been part of everything. And I couldn’t imagine this day without him standing right there with me.

Eric Verastegui

Groomsman

Eric has been a staple in my life since childhood. We played Little League together, our dads became close, and despite him being a White Sox fan and me a Cubs fan, we became family early on. I’d sleep over at his house all the time, and for years, going to the movies together was our thing. We also got into UFC together—every match, every month, we’d watch the fights, usually at his place, always on pay-per-view. Eric has always been quiet, but when he speaks, you listen—either because it’s unexpectedly profound or absolutely hilarious. He’s the kind of guy who might go unnoticed in a room, then hit you with a one-liner that everyone remembers. One time in college, we all went to Panama City Beach for spring break. There were a ton of us on the trip, and after three days, we were standing outside our hotel waiting for Eric. One of the guys looked around and asked, “Who the f*** is Eric?”—completely forgetting he’d been with us the whole time. Classic Eric. He’s one of a kind—loves his cars, loves hard work, and above all, loves his family. He’s the type of guy who would drop everything to help someone he cares about. I’ve always known if I needed him, he’d be there. There was never any doubt that Eric would be standing with me on this day. He’s been there for everything else
