Yes! Our ceremony on Fort Lauderdale Beach is family friendly and children are welcome. The cruise is also family friendly for those joining us for the celebration at sea.
Beachy cocktail attire. Think light, comfortable, and summer-friendly. Linen shirts, dresses, and breathable fabrics are great choices. Sand-friendly shoes are encouraged since the ceremony will take place on the beach.
Not at all. Everyone is welcome to attend the beach ceremony in Fort Lauderdale. The cruise the following day will be our main celebration and reception, but guests are welcome to join either or both.
To book the cruise and be included with our wedding group, please contact our travel agent: Peg Andrules 866-570-5663 pandrules@cruiseone.com She can help with cabins, pricing, and any cruise-related questions.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is the closest airport to the ceremony at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. Miami International Airport (MIA) is also a good option, especially for guests heading directly to the cruise port. Many guests attending both the ceremony and the cruise may find it easiest to fly into Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and depart from Miami (MIA), since the cruise departs from Port of Miami and returns there on July 27. Both airports are about 30–45 minutes apart depending on traffic, so either option works depending on your travel plans.
There are several hotels within walking distance of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park where the ceremony will take place. Guests are welcome to stay anywhere in the Fort Lauderdale Beach area depending on their plans before the cruise.
Yes! After the ceremony we plan to gather and celebrate together nearby. Additional details will be shared as we get closer to the date.
