Things To Do

If you’re planning to stick around after our wedding and enjoy a Philly weekend, here are a few of our favorite things to do and must-see sights around the City of Brotherly Love. Go Birds! 🦅
Philadelphia Art Museum

Philadelphia Art Museum

Philadelphia, PA 19130

A stunning museum you could spend hours exploring—or, if you're a fan of the Rocky movies, you have to run the iconic Rocky Steps! The steps are free to climb, and once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with an epic view of the city.

Independence Hall

Independence Hall

520 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

Another free and must-do tourist spot: the Independence Hall area! Here, you can see the Liberty Bell, tour Independence Hall, visit the U.S. Mint, and even stop by Ben Franklin’s grave—all within walking distance. A true Historical Philly must do!

Old City

Old City

Philadelphia, PA

After visiting Independence Hall, you’re just steps away from Old City—one of the most historic and charming neighborhoods in Philadelphia. This original part of the city is filled with great bars, restaurants, and cobblestone streets full of character. While you’re there, grab a drink at Old City Coffee—a cozy local spot we love. Fun fact: our very own Alex Ciullo used to live right above the coffee shop... before falling madly in love with Alex #2!

Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market

1136 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

The future Ciullos are big foodies—and one of Alex Ciullo’s favorite places to wander and eat is Reading Terminal Market! Similar to Seattle’s Pike Place, Reading Terminal is located in the heart of the city and is packed with delicious bites from local vendors. After all, the best way to someone’s heart is through their stomach! Even better? It’s just a short walk from the hotels we recommended.
