We love this zoo! It's located at Bear Mountain State Park (a short walk from the lodge) and has animals native to New York that cannot be released back into the wild for health reasons. There are incredible views of the Hudson River and Bear Mountain Bridge!

Trailside Museums & Zoo

There's plenty of things to do at Bear Mountain -- scenic hikes and walking paths, spa treatments at the Inn, visit Perkins Tower for great views. This website also lists nearby attractions, including Boscobel, Storm King Art Center, West Point and more!
