Where should we stay?

Answer

There's a discounted room block available at El Monte Sagrado (the discounted rate is available if you book before July 3rd). Other recommended hotel options are Casa Benevides and the Taos Inn. We HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY (really, we can't emphasize this enough) recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible. Most places in Taos will be fully booked for the holiday weekend! If you want to stay off the beaten path there are quite a few Airbnbs in Taos. When planning, be aware that Uber is active in Taos but cars may not be consistently available (it’ll probably be helpful to be in walking distance of El Monte Sagrado).

How long should we stay?

We hope you join us for the welcome reception and, of course, our wedding! Beyond that we will be in Taos Thursday, August 30th-Tuesday, September 2nd and hope you take an extra day or two to explore New Mexico. We look forward to seeing you!

Should we rent a car?

Answer

Most likely, yeah, you're going to want a car. It's a beautiful drive up to Taos and you'll be able to explore the area if you have a rental. If you're not into driving, the Taos Ski Valley offers a daily shuttle from the Albuquerque Airport to the town of Taos. We're also happy to help identify groups arriving at similar times if you want to carpool.
