Question
Should we stay at the Luxury Ambar or somewhere else?
Answer
This is completely your decision. If you stay at the Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar with us and use our 10% discount on booking (only valid for US bookings), you must book a minimum of 4 nights. The pricing options we received require a 20% deposit by March 31, but you will have the option to cancel for reimbursement up to 60 days prior to your booked stay. Most of our friends and family will be taking advantage of this offering to plan their own vacation by arriving early or staying later. If you choose to book on your own, you may find rooms at a lower price point, however, it may not be refundable in the event of cancellation and you may have to put down a higher deposit. You may also stay at any of the surrounding resorts on the property to take advantage of their unique options. For example, the neighboring Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana allows children and has a small water park.

When should we arrive?

Please arrive by Tuesday, January 27th if you are attending the rehearsal dinner or by Wednesday, January 28th for attending the wedding ceremony.

When should we book our trip by?
Answer
To receive the 10% discount on our room block, including the option for only a 20% deposit and the ability to cancel for reimbursement up to 60 days prior to your stay, you must book your room by March 31st, 2025. You may book later if you will be staying elsewhere or booking outside of our block.

What should we wear?
Answer
The weather will range from 70-84ºF with an ocean breeze. We will be wearing linen suits and encourage our guests to wear summer dresses or similar for women. For men we encourage a collared shirt.

Does the resort have a dress code?
Answer
Most of the a la carte restaurants require long pants for men and a collared shirt.

What is the wedding VIP bracelet?
Answer
As part of the wedding package we purchased, you will receive a VIP bracelet. The VIP bracelet allows you to access any of the surrounding resorts and their amenities, spas, restaurants, pools, etc.

Why are there multiple locations on the wedding day?
Answer
One of the benefits of staying at Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar is that we have access to all the venues of the surrounding Bahia Principe resorts. The resort will provide complimentary transportation between venues on the wedding day, but you may also walk. We chose the venues we loved the most.

Did we forget a registry?
Answer
No! We understand that attending our wedding at Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar in Punta Cana comes with an expensive price tag and want nothing more than for you to be there with us.
