Flight

Leonardo da Vinci International Airport

If you’re arriving early to explore other parts of Italy, feel free to fly into a different airport. That said, this is the primary international airport for flights from the U.S. to Rome, and it’s the most convenient option for getting to our venue and accommodations.

Travel Note

Rideshare Info

Please use Uber for all of your travel needs. It works just like it does in the US and is the most reliable form of transport. We do not recommend taking the train or bus as the schedules are not reliable and they can be difficult to navigate, especially at late hours. If you insist on taking the train, please view the info below!

Train

Trenitalia

You can purchase tickets online on the Trenitalia website. You MUST VALIDATE the tickets before you get on the train by scanning them at the green kiosks at the station or digitally validating them. You will get fined if you don’t do this, buying the tickets isn’t enough. Make sure the ticket is validated!

Travel Note

International Drivers License

You can easily get an international license through AAA. Please do not plan on drinking whatsoever if you’ll be renting a car.

Airbnb Information

Please note that Ubers/taxis can be challenging to find late at night from Tivoli to Rome, so staying in Tivoli for at least the night before and night of the wedding is ideal! See the FAQ section for more info on where to stay.
