What's the dress code?

Answer

Black tie - please be mindful of our ceremony in the church. Tuxedos are not required for men, but mid to floor length gowns are strongly preferred for women. This probably goes without saying but please do not wear white or any other shade of ivory/cream. Please bring a shawl to ensure your shoulders are covered, but feel free to take it off once the ceremony is done and we have exited the church.

When should we RSVP by?

RSVPs were closed on 11/30 - if you RSVP'd 'Yes' and cannot make it, please reach out to us directly ASAP. Our official 'RSVP By' date is November 30th, 2025. Anyone who hasn't responded at all will be marked as 'Not Attending' with no exceptions.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We don't have any hotel blocks booked and everyone is in charge of their own lodging. We recommend the following: Airbnb - a more affordable option with many choices around Tivoli. Al Catillo - https://www.alcatillo.it/ Alla Sibilla Casa Vacanze - These are the suites attached to our venue; they've just recently renovated, and the online listings don't reflect that, so reach out to them if you want more information on staying here. Al Palazzetto: A nice option with included breakfast. https://www.alpalazzetto.com/ Residenze Gregoriane - A scenic stay within about 15 minutes walking distance from the celebrations.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your invite for your plus one. While we would love to celebrate our special day with all of our loved ones, we can only accommodate a certain number of people. If your plus one cannot make it for whatever reason, we are unable to accommodate a new one.

If my plus one cancels, can I use it for a different guest?

Answer

We are unable to swap guests at this point in time, if your plus one cannot make it, you forfeit the guest's place. Please let us know ASAP if you have changes to make.

Can I bring my children?

We adore your little ones, but we kindly ask that only babies 2 or under join us for the celebration. Thank you for understanding!

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Wedding menus in Italy are a bit different than in the US. There will be a buffet of appetizers, 2 first courses, a main/side, followed by dessert. We will have options for all of our vegetarian friends - please indicate if your main dish needs to be vegetarian with your RSVP and please let us know if you have other restrictions that aren't mentioned.

Is it okay to take photos/videos?

We have put a lot of effort into finding the best photographer for our event. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos/videos during the ceremony (PLEASE do not have your phones out in the background of our ceremony photos), but feel free to bring your phone out afterward! :-)

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony is inside the church, there is a 10-minute walk to the reception afterwards, which will be outdoors. Ladies, consider bringing a change of shoes or skip the stilettos entirely as the streets in Tivoli are uneven cobblestone.

Will I need a power adapter?

Answer

It's best to check with your Airbnb or hotel host, but likely type C - you can purchase an adapter on Amazon.
