Alexa met Francesca in her 5th grade home room class. This fall, it will make 20 years of best friendship. Alexa can count on her hand how many times they've had an actual argument, but cannot even list the endless times they've made jokes at each other's expenses and told each other how it is. In Mr. Cross's 7th grade science class, they devised a plan to live in houses that were connected with a tumbling gym and kiln in the basement and husbands in other houses. Well, I guess that plan was a bust.
Andrea Lara

Alexa met Andrea in the most insufferable undergrad class about statistics 2 months before the COVID pandemic hit. She was funny and they got along great. After that class, they kept in touch and sat next to each other at graduation for their Bachelor of Psychology. A few months later, Andrea recommended Alexa get a job with her at The Nord Center. They began working together and then eventually became graduate students together. In the rough times, they've stuck together, doing important steps of life together. Alexa was a bridesmaid in Andrea's wedding this past fall. They can't wait to take another step in life together as best friends.
Angel Welsh

Alexa met Angel through Cheyenne 3 years ago. Alexa saw how Angel would show up no matter what even though that meant buckling 4 kids in no matter where you go, which is impressive to pretty much anyone. Through mutual likes and dislikes, their friendship blossomed and they now can call each other best friends from nail salons, to kids parties, to Angel's living room for movies and cozy couches, this wedding will be another sweet memory together.

Ashley is Zach's step sister and such a sweet, caring, role model of peace and joy. She is loyal to the core and enjoys belly laughs at her sons silly little kid things. Alexa and Zach always have a blessed time when with her. She is an inspiration to Alexa in how to balance work and children while making everything look easy.
Brittany Cline

Brittany is Zach's sister-in-law and wife of groomsmen Ben Cline; Brittany is very kind and thoughtful. She is always ready with sound advice and a helping hand when necessary. Brittany is a sturdy pillar in the Cline family, planning meticulously so everything goes well and always thinking of the bigger picture. It's good to have her on your team.

Alexa met Brittany in high school, but within the past 3 years have grown so close that Alexa now calls her a best friend. She's the type of friend that would stick up for you without skipping a beat and is always going to show up. She helps run Keystone Kindness Closet, something Alexa admires very much.
Cheyenne Huffman

Alexa met Cheyenne in elementary school at Keystone. They have always somehow crossed paths throughout school, but when Alexa became pregnant with Barrett, Cheyenne was beginning her Doula certification courses and was unexpendable to Alexa. Since then, she has been a very positive force in Alexa's life and continues to motivate her to be a better friend, host, and person, in general. She started the friend tribe we now have so obviously that makes her a best friend!!!

Alexa met Emily at Church of the Open Door Lorain where she began to be discipled by Emily. They spent time together in lifegroup and had some of the best conversations about God together. Thanks to Emily, Alexa grew in the love of Christ with grace, humility, and wisdom. Emily is the type of friend that is always there to offer wisdom, peace, and a little laugh. She tends to find joy when most people would find discouragement.

Alexa met Lauren in 5th grade. They became instant friends and cheered together through middle school on school and competition teams. Lauren always matched Alexa's energy by dancing and acting silly. She always stood up for her. She is kind, strong, and loyal- all the best qualities a friend should have!
Madisan Guzman

Mads is Alexa's sister. She is the firecracker that reminds Alexa what is the right thing to do in the most blunt way possible- that's a sister for you. She has empathy and understanding well beyond her years and applies it naturally. She and Alexa used to make dance videos together and have typical sisterly talks about advice. Their sisterly bond is unique in that they are 18 years apart, but special because of that too.
Cory Cline

Cory is Zach's oldest brother. He is always ready to help and has wonderful humor. He's always up for family time, even if it's to watch his nephews; he does so with joy. He is the definition of a good guy. We cannot wait to celebrate with this guy.
Benjamin Cline

Ben is Zach's 2nd oldest brother and husband to bridesmaid Brittany Cline. Most importantly, he always laughs at Alexa's dumb jokes. He is, like Cory, the definition of a good, strong guy. He leads with his heart and always always does what is right. We love you for that and your breaded perch, bud.
Brandon Frier

Brandon is Alexa’s uncle and he has been the best at it. He’s the part that helps everything feel whole still, someone who you can depend on no matter what to show up and help. He has a big heart and a sacrificial love for our country. Zach takes note of how Brandon always shows up no matter what and loves that about him. He enjoys talking with him at family get togethers and wanted to honor him because of that.
Dylan Bernstein

Dylan is Alexa's brother and her first practice at having boys. Their bond is strong even when life takes Alexa away more often due to college and having young children. Dylan and Alexa used to dance around the kitchen table, and make silly faces together. From the Harlem Globetrotters to (trying but Alexa failing miserably at) ice skating, they always have so much fun!
Torwin Guzman

This is Alexa's stepbrother Tor. He shows up for you and does what is right, always. He is not just a brother, but a friend as well. He is loyal, caring, and most importantly, laughs at all of Alexa's dumb jokes. From playing Transformers and WWE guys to volleyball tourneys that had us in stitches, Tor has been there.
