Flight
This is the major airport of Los Cabos & where you'll most likely be flying into. Southwest, American Airlines, Delta, United, and more all have flights to and from SJD. Pro tip: set up price alerts on Google Flights and/or use services like Skiplagged, Skyscanner, or Hopper to track cheap flights to see if you can get a deal on airfare. We know flights aren't exactly cheap!

Travel Note
Once you land in Los Cabos, you have a few options to get to your next stop. 1) Impala Ground Services. This is a private transportation service that's offering a discount to our wedding guests. You can set up your ride before you get to Mexico. To do that, please follow these directions: • Go to www.impalacabo.com • Click on Wedding Transportation on the top menu • Scroll down & click the red "Wedding Guest" button • Enter user name (AH&RA7) and password (AH&RA7) • Click "Okay" • Click "Guest List" (top left) • Click "Add your information" • Add all requested info. It's important that you specify exact number of passengers. • You'll receive an email confirmation & you're set! 2) Take a cab. There are plenty of taxis waiting outside of the airport. Most cab drivers only take cash (USD or pesos), so make sure you have some on you before starting the trip. 3) Hotel shuttle. The Hilton and most other hotels offer a shuttle service to/from the airport. Contact directly to set this up.
Travel Note
For those traveling to Mexico for the first time (or if it's been a while), here are some things to keep in mind. • Bring a pen with you on the flight. You'll fill out an immigration form on the plane & bring it with you through customs. • You need a valid passport to enter Mexico. • The line to get through customs could be long. Make sure to use the restroom before getting in line! • DO NOT LOSE THE VISA CARD you receive after getting your passport stamped. You will need this to get back into the US. • After picking up your luggage, there will be hundreds of people trying to sell you time shares and other packages. Just keep walking. All transportation options are outside. • Contact your bank, wireless carrier, and car insurance company (if you plan to drive) before leaving the states.
Travel Note
• Don't drink the water. You can buy massive water bottles at local convenience stores (OXXO) for super cheap. Use these when you brush your teeth. • Bring some Pepto Bismol with you in case you need it in a pinch 😬 • Credit cards are accepted most places. • If you need to take out cash, use ATM at the hotel or bank. You get a better exchange rate. • We recommend breaking $50-$100 USD into small bills (5s and 1s) and carrying this around for tips if you don't have pesos on you. • Most cab drivers will only accept cash. You can use USD or pesos. • If you decide to rent a car, be prepared with cash to pay tolls. • Airport & street signage are all in English as well as Spanish. You won't get lost! And even if you do, feel free to ask. Most people are bilingual.
Travel Note
This just in: Uber is now available in Cabo. This is huge because in the past, it hasn't been an option. Please note that they cannot pick up from the airport, but they can drop you off.
