San Juan Excursions Whale & Wildlife Tours

Go on a boat tour and see orca whales, harbor seals, California & Steller sea lions, Dall's & harbor porpoise, gray & minke whales, bald eagles, cormorants, and great blue herons on one of the whale watching tours! There are several companies in the area, please feel free to take a look different services for whale watching.

The Whale Museum

The Whale Museum opened to the public in 1979 as the first museum in the country devoted to a species living in the wild. Today, the museum continues to promote stewardship of whales and the Salish Sea ecosystem through education and research. Open 10am-4pm. Fun fact: Alexa first went to the Whale Museum freshman year of college on a biology class field trip to Friday Harbor!

The San Juan Golf & Tennis Club features a challenging, 9-hole, links-style course that has been rated one of the best 9-hole courses in the region by the Pacific Northwest Golf Association. GolfWashington.com calls it "One of the best 9-hole tracks anywhere in the state."
