Go on a boat tour and see orca whales, harbor seals, California & Steller sea lions, Dall's & harbor porpoise, gray & minke whales, bald eagles, cormorants, and great blue herons on one of the whale watching tours! The Whale Museum opened to the public in 1979 as the first museum in the country devoted to a species living in the wild. Today, the museum continues to promote stewardship of whales and the Salish Sea ecosystem through education and research. Open 10am-4pm. Fun fact: Alexa first went to the Whale Museum freshman year of college on a biology class field trip to Friday Harbor!

The San Juan Golf & Tennis Club features a challenging, 9-hole, links-style course that has been rated one of the best 9-hole courses in the region by the Pacific Northwest Golf Association. GolfWashington.com calls it "One of the best 9-hole tracks anywhere in the state."
