Where do we stay?
Answer
Due to how beautifully remote Evan's Lake is, where you want to stay is variable. If you want to stay closer to our Lake, an Airbnb is the way to go. If you want to stay in a hotel, try looking at adjacent cities like Adrian and Jackson. Please take a look at the Travel tab for more detailed information.

What do I wear?
Answer
Our wedding will be semi-formal, so think polished but comfortable! For women, a cocktail dress, dressy midi, or a chic jumpsuit is perfect. For men, a suit or dress pants with a button-down shirt and tie works great—no need for a tux. We want everyone to feel dressed up and festive without going full black-tie. Feel free to add a splash of color, soft florals, or something seasonal—we just ask that you keep it respectful as we will be in a church for the ceremony, but flowy and fun for a lake side reception. Don’t forget to bring a layer in case it cools off in the evening! For service members- we appreciate your dedication to your country, but your service uniform is not required. We only ask you to wear your branch insignia on your collar or chest pocket. Cowboy boots are welcomed!

What's the parking situation?

For the day before BBQ at the Lake- parking TBD For the wedding- please park at our venue (White Birch Wedding Barn) at 12pm and we will provide transportation to and from the Church For the day after lunch at the Lake- parking TBD

What is the weather going to look like?
Answer
At this time of year it can range from 70-85 degrees, with high humidity, and sometimes light rain showers. Due to the proximity to all these beautiful lakes and forests, the bugs and mosquitos are around. Please use bugs spray! Our family rule of thumb- if you can see lightening bugs, you can get bit by mosquitos.
