Greg and Alexa met when they were 16 years old at their high school choir concert. Alexa was sat on the Downingtown West High School sign as she yelled “I’m queen of West!” to which Greg stood on a picnic table and yelled “I challenge you to a duel!!” From there on they were best friends and enjoyed sledding, skiing, hiking, attended numerous dances together, riding rides at the strawberry festival, and hanging out with many of their friends. Although they never dated in high school — their foundation of friendship over the years set the tone for their relationship into adulthood. Alexa attended the University of Alabama and Greg attended Saint Joseph’s University, they periodically keep in touch and would go skiing together over winter break. (Play Cool by Gwen Stefani.) In June of 2020, Alexa, Greg, and their mutual friend Anne-Laure hiked from an appropriate distance at Marsh Creek. From there they reconnected over the Fourth of July and have been dating since! He live streamed her graduation from UA in August of 2020. Alexa’s job placed her in Florida for January of 2021, for the fall semester of Greg’s senior year he lived in Manayunk where unemployed Alexa came to visit every weekend. During this time they enjoyed walking on the bridge, going to local coffee shops, playing Fortnite, and the occasional hawk wrap. By January 2021, they road tripped together from PA to FL! This was their first trip of MANY together. They stopped at UNC and Duke where they stayed at a basketball themed hotel, listened to state champs, real friends, and many other pop punk CDs Alexa had in her CD case, and took many photos of Alexa’s beloved dog, Rocky. Once they arrived to Orlando they spent the first week together, building furniture, going to Universal and Disney, and exploring Alexa’s new home. Every month they would fly for a weekend to see each other, DoorDash each other meals and have dates over FaceTime, and play Fortnite frequently. February of 2022, Alexa moved back home just in time for Greg’s birthday! They road-tripped from FL to PA again and visited friends in Atlanta, GA, and Washington, DC! The following week they went on their first hiking trip together to Big Bend National Park. By the fall they were away almost every weekend together, visiting the Adoriandak and Catskills mountains in NY, the Jersey shore, New Orleans, and going to an Alabama football game! Since then they have been on many adventures ranging from weekend trips to visit friends in various cities to hiking in Yosemite National Park. Alexa and Greg enjoyed their summers boating, kayaking, going for walks around West Chester, and enjoying as much sun as they can. — Alexa more than Greg since he needs SPF 50. In September 2024 Greg and Alexa went to Longwood gardens where while nervously waiting for the water works show to finish Greg would propose to Alexa. After Longwood they enjoyed dinner with both of their families followed by a party surrounded by friends. They now look forward to their wedding surrounded by family and friends and moving in together!

Greg asked Alexa to marry him at Longwood Gardens! Afterward, they enjoyed dinner with both their families and their best friends. When they arrived back at Greg's house all of their closest friends threw them an engagement party!
