The story of Francis and Alexa. The couple met the old fashioned way… in person. It was the start of Alexa’s last semester at West Chester University. Fortunately for her she lived in an apartment full of Delco people. It was getting dark on a chilly January night in 2018. Francis received a call from his childhood buddy Michael Mullner, he said “I don’t care what you’re doing tonight, you’re home now, get your ass up here.” It was simple he had no choice but to make the short drive to West Chester for the night. During this short drive, Mullner turns to Alexa and says, “you’re gonna love my boy Mcchillin.” Naturally, Alexa responded with “most likely not.” Francis walked into a house of old friends and unfamiliar faces. But one face caught his eye. She was a girl that cursed like a sailor and sported a giants beanie. There’s no way this would work, but he wanted to meet her. After a short walk to Kildare’s Alexa turns to Francis, whom she just met and says “you got my cover right?” Francis: “Yes ma’m whatever you say” The night passed and the two found themselves spending most of the night chatting, dancing…. On the walk home he promised her he would later take her on a date… as they got home Francis had the liberty of holding Alexa’s hair back as she vomited into a trash can and brushing her teeth before she passed out. At 3am with no place to stay, Francis felt he deserved a nice place to sleep since he just spent that past hour taking care of this random girl. They woke up shared some laughs and he drove her to her morning class. Alexa didn’t make it to class. She ended up spending the day hungover at the McVey’s. (This would be the first of many) Francis asked her on that date later that week. Without any money he managed to use 4 gift cards to cover the entirety of the bill and ever since then they’ve been riding this wave all the way to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
