A bartender will be serving beer and wine. There won’t be any liquor.

What shoes are appropriate?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on grass and the reception will be under a tent on hard concrete. For the women, we recommend wearing comfortable heels and bringing backup flats.

What is weather typically like at the venue this time of year?

Answer

May in Asheville, North Carolina is generally considered one of the best times to visit characterized by warm days, cool nights, and the peak of spring blooms. Temperatures are very comfortable with daily highs often in the 70s and nights in the 50s.

How close together are the ceremony and reception venues and what is the best way to travel between them?

Answer

A good amount of walking distance. There will be golf carts that can be used to transport people.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a reserved time where people are allowed to take pictures, but other than that it will be an unplugged ceremony.
