FAQs

Question

What’s the timeline of the day?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive to Cedar Oaks Farm around 4:00pm and no later than 4:15pm. After the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour from 5:00-6:00pm and a reception starting at 6:00pm which will end with a sparkler send off at 9:30pm.

Question

Can I bring my child/children?

Answer

We love all of the little ones in our lives! However, we have decided to not have young children at our wedding. We understand this is quite a big ask for parents and we truly appreciate everyone’s efforts in finding childcare/alternative plans for their young ones in order to attend. Consider this is great excuse to have a kid-free getaway with your partner for a weekend!

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! Think cocktail/semi-formal attire. This includes dresses (maxi, midi, or tea length) or long tops/dress pants for women and button down shirts and dress pants for men (suit jackets and ties/bow ties are encouraged for men but optional). Please no denim/jeans/shorts. Please no white/cream colored dresses or tops (white button down shirts for the men are a-ok!). Rule of thumb for the ladies: if you think the garment might be too white, it probably is. :)

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The burning question! Good news - drinks are on us for the evening! That being said, our venue enforces a beer and wine only policy. Yes, sadly this means no liquor. We will have plenty of beer, wine, and hard seltzer options for our guests to enjoy, though! There will also be non-alcoholic options to choose from. If you drive to the venue and decide to carpool or Uber back to where you are staying, you must pick up your vehicle before 9am the next day.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will specify how many seats have been saved in your honor. If you have any specific questions, please contact Alexa directly.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at Cedar Oaks Farm. There are a few handicapped spots available as well - please contact Alexa if you require one to be reserved for you/your party. There are some Uber/Lyft/Taxicab drivers in the area and we encourage our guests to look into scheduling a ride in advance to ensure availability before/after the wedding. If you drive to the venue and decide to carpool/Uber back to where you’re staying, you must pick up your vehicle from the venue before 9am the next day.
