Banff
Since you’ll be traveling to Alberta, consider extending your stay after the wedding festivities—or arriving a few days early—to explore Banff or Jasper. Nestled in the Rockies, these destinations offer stunning scenery, turquoise lakes, and unforgettable outdoor adventures. They’re about a 2.5–3 hour drive from Edmonton, so a car is recommended. Calgary is closer to the mountains and may be a more convenient airport to fly into or out of if you’re planning to visit before or after the celebration.
West Edmonton Mall
West Edmonton Mall is one of the largest shopping and entertainment complexes in North America, it’s much more than just a mall. In addition to hundreds of shops and restaurants, it features an indoor waterpark, amusement park, skating rink, mini golf, and even an indoor lake.
