The Sangeet is a lively and joyful celebration at an Indian wedding, filled with music, dance performances, and singing, where family and friends come together to celebrate the upcoming marriage. The event highlights the joy and excitement of the couple's union in a colorful and festive atmosphere. In terms of attire, women typically wear traditional Indian clothing such as lehengas, sarees, or Indian suits. Men often dress in traditional Indian clothing or opt for a suit, with no tie necessary, to match the festive spirit of the event.

This is a traditional pre-wedding festivity featuring turmeric blessings, beautiful henna art, and lots of joy as we celebrate together.

10:30 am - Anand Karaj Ceremony 12:30 pm - Lunch is served Anand Karaj is the Sikh wedding ceremony, symbolizing the spiritual union of the bride and groom. It takes place in a Gurdwara (Sikh temple) and involves reciting hymns, prayers, and singing of sacred songs. Guests will be seated cross legged on the floor. For the Gurdwara ceremony, we kindly ask that women wear modest attire. Please choose an outfit that covers the shoulders, chest, and legs (long dresses, suits, or traditional wear are perfect). A head covering (scarf or dupatta) is required inside the Gurdwara. For men, a suit or traditional Indian attire is welcome. We can't wait to celebrate with you. There will be breakfast served before the ceremony and lunch after the ceremony is completed.
