Maid of Honor
Also known as Riss, Rose and her Maid of Honor met rushing a sorority in their sophomore year at UConn. Although neither actually decided to join a sorority, they instantly connected and became best friends. Both would tell you that they fell in love in one afternoon that weekend in a Dunkin Donuts, drinking one too many iced coffees over the course of several hours while sharing their life story with one another. Since then, their friendship has only gotten stronger, supporting one another through school, new jobs, new cities and everything in between. Besides Alex of course, Rose considers Riss to be her soul mate.
Best Man
The younger brother of the groom, Aaron has known Alex, well…his whole life. There are few people on this planet who know Alex as well as Aaron does and the two of them (though they bicker like brothers and the phrase “brothers will be brothers” is a perfect description of their relationship) are better for it. The brotherly bond is a strong one and because of that, Aaron makes the perfect Best Man.
Bridesmaid
Biddie Boo! Those closest to Sam & Rose know that they share the same strange nickname for one another that has withstood the test of time as they still refer to one another as that to this day. Sam & Rose grew up together, but didn't become close until high school. They really started to bond during the summers home in New Fairfield during college where they spent countless vacations and days on Candlewood Lake together. 10+ years and counting and they're still just as close.
Groomsman
Elliott and Alex’s friendship can be traced back to Alex’s earliest days in Austin, TX after the family moved into a house just around the corner. An intellectual, kind and loyal friend, Elliott has been one of the groom’s closest friends through the awkward middle school years, the highs and lows of high school, into their twenties and beyond, always there for those closest to him.
Bridesmaid
When Rose first moved to Fort Worth, TX, she met Ashley through mutual friends that were living in Austin. Flash forward a year and Rose was moving to Austin herself where her and Ashley became a lot closer. Ashley was one of Rose's first friends in Austin and they've become best friends in the six years since. Rose considers Ashley to be one of her closest and most loyal friends, always there when she needs her whether that's being the first friend to show up to her party or to help her make big life decisions.
Groomsman
Just like his brother Elliott, Everett has known the groom since he moved to Austin, TX being the first to discover that Alex lived just a street over. A wonderfully outgoing and booming personality, Everett approached a shy new kid out of nowhere saying something along the lines of “Hey, I’m Everett and I think I’m your new neighbor. Want to come over one day after school and hang out?”. From that first play date back in 5th grade, Everett has remained a constant in Alex’s life throughout the years, always there for a good time whenever one was called for.
Bridesmaid
Hailing originally from Washington, Erica & Rose first met when they both had recently moved to Austin to start working for Insight Global in the summer of 2016. Moving to a new city where you know no one can be very intimidating so it wasn't long before Erica & Rose sought each other out. However, they didn't become BEST friends until they attended ACL together that fall and found themselves in a strange predicament that forced them to truly have each other's back. Erica has since moved to Raleigh, NC with her husband Kyle and their beautiful baby boy Hayden, but Erica and Rose's friendship hasn't skipped a beat.
Groomsman
As a loud, feisty and honestly sometimes obnoxious new kid at school, Bradley made an immediate impression on Alex when he transferred to St. Andrew’s for high school. What was once a friendship filled with laughs and smiles at all of his antics has since become a friendship that has stood the test of time. Always willing to bring the energy (or a bottle of Kirkland’s vodka), Bradley is the kind of character everyone should want in their corner.
Bridesmaid
Allie & Rose's friendship dates all the way back to middle school. Rose started playing soccer with Allie's older sister and started hanging around the Smyth family during that time. The two instantly connected and the rest is history. They stood side by side through middle school, high school, college and early adulthood. When thinking back on those most formative years, Rose believes she couldn't have done it without Allie. They've been there for each other through each of life's biggest milestones and Allie is truly one of Rose's oldest and dearest friends.
Groomsman
Andrew and Alex’s friendship started freshman year of high school when Andrew showed up to a hangout at the Wolf’s house wearing a Nirvana sweatshirt ready to walk the streets of the Pimberton neighborhood. Fast forward to a weekend in college where Alex went to Athens, GA with some friends from LSU and found himself in a precarious situation (feel free to ask for more details when you see either of them) and Andrew was there to take him in and show him a good time. A sign of true friendship, the kind and caring Andrew has always been a friend Alex can rely on.
Bridesmaid
Over the course of the 4.5 years that Rose worked at Insight Global, Eliza was right by her side almost the entire time. Rose & Eliza first met when Eliza started at IG in the summer of 2017 and joined the same team Rose was on. In fact, Rose trained Eliza and she quickly realized what a beautiful person Eliza was inside and out. Eliza feels and cares for those around her more than anyone. The two clicked immediately and became inseparable, supporting one another through the highs and lows of life both in the office and out. Eliza is Rose's biggest hype woman and her most trusted confidant when it comes to all things fashion, style and makeup.
Groomsman
AKA, Lil 2-Teeth. Dan and Alex’s friendship simply seems like fate. Dan first met Alex on a party barge on Lake Austin when the two were invited onboard by mutual friends and Alex took to the aux chord to DJ the day’s shenanigans. The two began to bond when Alex started playing a hit from the rap group Flatbush Zombies and Dan declared that “whoever the DJ is, they’re killin’ it!” Though an initial bond was struck, the two would continue to randomly run into each other at bars, social events etc., each time exclaiming, “Man we gotta hang out more!”. Once they actually followed through on that, the two became the close friends they were destined to be.
Bridesmaid
Once again we're brought back to the early days of Insight Global when Rose met Sami in her first few weeks at work. Between the long hours and all the chaos that was that job, Sami was a bright light with an infectious personality and a heart of gold. She made it her mission to be kind and welcoming to every person that walked through those doors including Rose. The two were paired to work together in those first few weeks and Sami truly took Rose under her wing. It's questionable as to whether or not Sami actually knew what she was doing, but Rose & Sami shared many laughs as they worked towards making a hire and really getting to know one another. Sami continues to make Rose laugh harder than anyone and loves on her more than she probably should.
Groomsman
The man who gives all Alex’s a good reputation. Alex x2 met a little later in life, but their friendship feels like it’s been there all along. While the two would run into each other here and there throughout the years, meeting originally through his now wife, Sami, they were never at a loss for conversation. Whether it’s a late night of drinks and games on the couch, or a piece of advice and a thoughtful conversation, Alex W. is always ready and willing to be there for those he cares about, including the bride and groom.
Bridesmaid
Promise this is the last of the Insight Global crew, but Danielle & Rose also met in those first few weeks. Danielle had started shortly before Rose and was a cold calling machine, an absolute force to be reckoned with and by far the most successful of the "new hires." In addition to her work ethic, Danielle was one of the most well liked people in the office, friends with what seemed like everyone. Rose was both impressed and intimidated, but knew she wanted to be friends with Danielle too. Despite being a machine in the workplace, Danielle was actually one of the most laid-back, friendly, and down to earth people Rose met in the early days of Austin. Fortunately, Danielle wanted to be friends with Rose too, and six years later they've only gotten even closer.
Groomsman
Oh my Andrew Duffy Forestier, Petroleum Engineering Major from the Woodlands, TX. Drew and Alex met in the summer leading up to their freshman year of college during a fraternity rush trip that would take the guys on a party bus down to float the river in San Marcos, TX. Eventually joining the same fraternity at LSU, the two quickly became friends bonding over Alex's inability to pass his math classes and Drew's giving spirit and tutoring (helping Alex pass his college math courses by "helping" with his quizzes and homework). The two then became roommates for the remainder of college, forming a lifelong friendship forged between the stately oaks and wild magnolias.
Bridesmaid
The roommate. There is no one who knows Rose & Alex better than Carly. Rose & Carly met on an online roommate finder before moving to Austin. In fact, they did not even FaceTime let alone physically meet before signing a lease together. Luckily, it worked out pretty great and they ended up living together for five years. It was actually Carly's idea for Alex to move in during year two because she knew how much it would mean to the both of them and outside of Rose, Carly & Alex have a pretty great friendship of their own. Carly has been through thick and thin since the very beginning with both Rose & Alex, and if you asked any one of them, they would tell you that they consider each other family.
Groomsman
Jacob was the first friend Alex made when he moved to Austin and the two were attached at the hip from that moment on. On his first day of school, Jacob made sure to let him know he was sorry for mistaking him for a girl (having only heard his name from the teacher before he started) and coloring one of the letters in his welcome sign pink. Unbeknownst to them, this moment would spark a deep, meaningful and lifelong friendship that would take them to the same college, to their first apartment in Austin, and still remains today even miles apart.
