The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM CST so we ask that guests try to arrive no later than 4:15 PM CST. The buses departing from the hotels will be leaving at 3:15 PM CST which should ensure you'll be on time. We would also like to note that there tends to be a bit of backup on 290 and William Cannon just before you get to the venue, so please factor in traffic delays!
We're asking that guests dress in semi-formal attire for the evening. Examples of clothing include cocktail dresses, maxi/long & midi dresses, jumpsuits, slacks, a collared shirt, a suit, etc. For shoes, some examples include heels, flats, dressy sandals, loafers, (cleaned up) cowboy boots-yee haw! Bottom line, wear something nice, but don't overthink it! P.S. For those who opt for a heel, you will be on firm ground and gravel for the majority of the evening so you shouldn't have to worry too much there!
Weather permitting, the ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. The patio area will be open all evening so you'll be able to hang outside by the fire pit if you choose to do so during the reception, as well. If the weather is questionable, the ceremony & reception will be held indoors, and the cocktail hour will be held under an awning outside.
Well, it's Austin, TX, which means the weather can change on a dime! With that being said, we typically see highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s during the month of November. It tends to be a much more mild, pleasant time of year, weather-wise.
The ceremony will start at 4:30 PM CST and should only last about 30 minutes immediately followed by the cocktail hour (there will be passed apps available). The reception/dinner (buffet style) will begin around 6:00 PM CST with dancing starting shortly thereafter. The bride & groom send off will be at 10:00 PM CST followed by drinks on E. 6th street to keep the party going!
There will be one bus bringing guests from both of the hotels we have room blocks with on the day of the wedding. They will also be bringing guests back to the hotels at the end of the night. If you are coming from elsewhere, there is plenty of parking at the venue, but you do need to leave in your car, you cannot keep it at the venue overnight. If you're planning on drinking, I would recommend taking an Uber/Lyft (no drinking and driving please!). There will be an additional bus available at the end of the night to bring the wedding party back towards the downtown area. If anyone is having trouble hailing down an Uber/Lyft (we are about 20-30 min from downtown and later in the evening, we've heard this can be a bit of a wait), there will be some additional space on that bus. For anyone who would like to ride that bus on the way back, please let us know ahead of time so we can hold a spot for you. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns!
While we would love to share our day with all of the kiddos, there is not enough room at the venue to include them. We hope you understand and can still join us to enjoy a night off!

Your invite should include both you and your significant other. However, if there is a special someone in your life that we were not aware of, please let us know and we would be happy to discuss whether or not we can include them depending on space at the venue.
